Lift the rear axle to make your vehicle more agile (your truck can make sharper turns); lift the middle axle to make your truck more stable (especially at higher speeds). Press " U " to lift or lower axles. Remember that using these axles reduces your fuel tank capacity. A truck with three rear axles. Another option are 2 or 3 steerable axles
In game options, try to adjust dead zone of accelerator. Also it helped me when I stepped it all the way to the end a couple of times while on said options screen. I'm playing ETS2 and everything is fine until out of nowhere (with no setting changes) my truck starts to accelerate by itself. So far to get rid of this problem I've tried: - A different controller (from one DS4 to another) - Unplugging the controller (still accelerates with no controller plugged in) - Re-loading the game.

ETS2 trucks accelerate too fast. My trucks in ETS2 (1.37) accelerate way too fast, especially when there is no delivery yet. I think there must be a way to manage this by editing some file, but I really don't know how to do it. I use keyboard arrows to increase or decrease speed.
